Scotland’s rail network remains in turmoil in the wake of the Stonehaven derailment, a fresh landslip in Fife and flooding issues across the country.
The railway line remains closed between Aberdeen and Dundee as a result of the incident.
Police were due to carry out a search of the area following the derailment, with a major investigation into the tragedy announced on Thursday.
Network Rail are said to be inspecting all Scottish tracks hit by the flooding to make sure they are safe.
It comes as rail services in Fife were affected after a landslip on the line between Cardenden and Glenrothes.
There is major disruption across our network, following the major incident at Stonehaven and severe weather earlier this week.
Please only travel if you have to on affected routes, and check your journey before setting off.

Journeys between Edinburgh and Glenrothes are now only running as far as Cowdenbeath. Disruption is expected on the Fife line until the end of the day.
The deluge has caused problems across the wider Fife Circle with disruption expected until Saturday.
Elsewhere, heavy flooding is causing issues on the line between Perth and Dunblane. Lines will remain closed between Inverness and Glasgow until August 17.
Scotrail says its rail services between Inverness and Glasgow Queen Street “will be terminated at and started back from Perth”.
The firm also said there is “severe flooding” in and around Perth Station.
The railway remains open between Inverness and Pitlochry with replacement bus services in use.
All lines are also closed between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk, and from the capital to Dunblane, as a result of flooding at Polmont.
ScotRail said there is damage to overhead powerlines and embankments on the tracks between the two cities via Falkirk. Disruption is expected to continue until September 2.
Customers are being advised to travel on alternative services between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
A statement on the ScotRail website read: “We are experiencing severe disruption across our network due to recent weather events and the impact of a major incident at Stonehaven because of a derailment.
“Many services will be affected so it is crucial that you check your journey before you travel. If you do need to travel by train, please continue to follow the Coronavirus travel guidance.
“Our Network Rail colleagues are out checking the network, to make sure it’s safe to reopen lines which have been affected by flooding.
“Our integrated control team in Glasgow continually monitor progress, arrange rail replacement coaches and will reinstate the cancelled services when it is safe to do so.
