Two people have been rushed to hospital following a serious crash involving a car towing a caravan on the M90 near Bridge of Earn.
Emergency services, including Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), raced to the scene of the collision near Junction nine at around 11.45 am on Friday.
A male and female were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The Scottish Ambulance Service have sent two ambulances plus their special operations team and remained at the scene for several hours.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.
The single northbound lane remains closed to traffic and there as of yet no details of any injuries.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 11.45am to a report of a road crash involving a car towing a caravan on the M90, Junction 9 north bound.”
They added: “Two people have been taken to hospital in Ninewells, one male and one female.”
