A person has died after being struck by a train in Fife.
The tragedy happened on the railway line near Newburgh at around 3.45pm on Tuesday.
As emergency services worked at the scene, the line between Ladybank and Perth was closed for more than three hours.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to the line in Newburgh at 3.46pm on September 8 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are currently working to identify the person and inform their family.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.”
Passengers were told to expect disruption to rail journeys between Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness until 7pm.
Shortly after 7pm, Scotrail posted on Twitter: “The line between Ladybank and Perth has now reopened, but it’ll take us a wee while to get services back to normal.
“A number of our trains and crews are out of place, but our control room team are working to keep disruption to a minimum.”
