A contraflow is being put in place on the A90 near Forfar as part of a £1.2million resurfacing project.
Works between the Douglastown underpass and Gateside slip road is due to start with overnight lane closures north and southbound on Tuesday for traffic management to be put in place.
From Wednesday until Saturday September 26 the contraflow will operate from near the Douglastown off-slip until after the Gateside.
Signed diversion routes will be in place for all affected junctions.
Ian Stewart, of BEAR Scotland said: “We’ve taken steps to minimise disruption for motorists as much as possible during the improvements, including carrying out the works under a contraflow traffic management system which will keep the traffic moving.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams carry out these essential improvements on the A90.”
