Roadworks taking place on the A85 Crieff Road near Perth will be extended for an extra evening.
A spokeswoman for BEAR Scotland said: “The second phase involves the section of the A85 from the Tesco/B&Q Junction over to the A9/A85 interchange roundabout.
“The improvements have progressed as scheduled with the first phase of resurfacing completed yesterday,” she said.
“However, following further assessments of the work planned in phase two an extra night is required.”
The second phase involves the section of the A85 from the Tesco/B&Q junction over to the A9/A85 interchange roundabout.
The spokeswoman added: “Works will take place overnight from 8pm until 6am tonight (Thursday) with an additional night planned for Sunday.
“The programme has been scheduled to avoid working on the busier Friday and Saturday nights to keep disruption to a minimum.
“Works planned for phase three will begin on Monday night – a day later than scheduled.
“A closure of the A85 is required during phase two. The closure will be lifted out with working hours.”
