A lorry driver was injured after a stone smashed into the windscreen of their vehicle on Dundee’s busiest road.
The incident took place as the HGV headed westbound on the Kingsway at noon on Monday.
The driver sustained minor injuries after the stone hit the windscreen.
The incident, which took place near the Macalpine Road junction, did not cause a collision.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “We are appealing for information following a road traffic incident on Kingsway West near to its junction with Macalpine Road.
“Around 12pm on Monday, October 12 2020, a stone damaged the windscreen of an HGV travelling towards Perth which resulted in the driver sustaining minor injuries.
“Police are appealing to anyone who has any information about the incident to get in touch with officers.
“If anyone has any dashcam footage that could assist with our investigation I asked that you speak to police.
“Police can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 1084 of Monday, October 12, 2020.”
