The main train line between Perth and Stirling has been closed after a person was struck by a train.
The incident happened at the Cornton level crossing, between Stirling and Bridge of Allan, at 6.42pm.
Services between the two cities have been disrupted by the closure, with rail bosses expecting it to continue until at least 10.30pm.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: “Services between Stirling and Dunblane are subject to delay and alteration this evening. Sadly, this was due to a person being struck by a train.
“Anyone affected by this incident can contact Samaritans free of charge, any time, from any phone, on 116 123.”
