A 36-year-old man driving at 104mph on the A90 near Stonehaven was among a number of motorists snared during a month-long road safety operation in Kincardine and Mearns.
Several other car drivers were also caught by police driving at above 90mph on the same stretch of road.
Several motorists were also charged or warned in relation to parking in restricted areas, having defective tyres and not wearing seatbelts.
Charges were also brought in relation to drink driving and dangerous driving.
Particular focus was given to educating motorists caught driving or parking inappropriately outside schools in the Portlethen, Stonehaven, Laurencekirk, Fettercairn, Johnshaven, Gourdon, Inverbervie, St Cyrus, Drumlithie, Banchory, Devenick and Drumoak areas.
PC Austin Stevenson said there were a number of issues that come with such large numbers of people and variety of vehicles using the roads.
He said: “It has been disappointing to see people charged and reported for speeding despite the repeated warnings and the obvious dangers of driving above the speed limit.
“It is unacceptable that these drivers are further examples of those who are willing to put themselves, and others, in obvious danger.
“I would again urge motorists to please slow down, pay attention to what’s around you and, drive for the conditions and respect other road user’s safety.”
