A £194,000 resurfacing programme which was due to begin on the A90 on Thursday night has been postponed.
Bear Scotland say it has been forced to put off the work, which was due to take place until next week between Inchture and Drimmie Lodge, had been put off due to recent bad weather.
A spokeswoman said they will now be rescheduled for later in the year.
The works were set to take place between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
Andy Thompson, Bear Scotland’s north east representative, said: “These resurfacing improvements will address any defects in the road, improving the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.”
