Bus passengers in Dundee are set to face weeks of disruption as a result of a series of planned roadworks throughout the summer.
Explore Dundee is amending some of its routes because of diversions taking traffic around blocked streets.
The first round of utility works begin on July 4 and will see Perth Road closed westbound for eight weeks, which will disrupt the 5, 9/10, 17, 203 and 204 services.
Forthill Road will be subject to two phases of work, the first affecting only the 5 service while the second will impact both the 5 and the 9/10.
Routes have been amended and Xplore and Stagecoach will be making special provisions to enable passengers to use the services with minimal disruption.
Work on Coupar Angus Road will last two weeks and will affect the 4, 9/10, 28 and 203 services, while the 1B and 22 services through Strathmartine Road will be disrupted for one week.
In a second wave, a 10-week programme of work on Douglas Road and Longhaugh Road will begin mid-July and affect the 9/10, 14, 15/27 and 28/29 Xplore services
Barns of Claverhouse will be subject to closures for one week from July 11 with the 9/10, 36 and 208 services all disrupted as a result.
An XPLORE Dundee spokeswoman said: “Although these circumstances are out of our control we are working hard to ensure customers are kept moving on these key routes.
“We would also advise passengers to allow a little extra time for their journey in case of delays, and to keep checking our website and social media pages for updates.”
