A fallen tree has blocked a rural Perthshire road.
A large bough came down on the A822 at Gilmerton, near Crieff, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 300-yard stretch has been closed off from the A85 junction to the turn-off to Monzie.
A Perth and Kinross Council spokeswoman said the fallen tree had caused a “likelihood of danger to the public”.
She said roadblocks were in place, but access would be maintained for emergency vehicles. While the road is being cleared, traffic will be redirected along surrounding country roads.
The council is also assessing trees at Viewlands Road in Perth after a 30ft long branch came crashing to the ground.
