Motorists can expect delays on one of Fife’s busiest roads as resurfacing work takes place later this month.
Five nights of maintenance work is scheduled to take place on a section of the A92 between Kilmany and Wormit Junction.
The £130,000 project will begin on Sunday October 16 from 7.30pm until 6.30am, with work due to be completed on the morning of Friday October 21.
A convoy system will be used during the works to ensure the safety of the work force, a move that is expected to cause delays for any drivers using the route.
Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s North East Representative, said: “These works will repair a number of potholes and other issues which will improve the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.
“The resurfacing has been scheduled to take place overnight to minimise any delays, however we encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time to reach their destination.”
