One of Fife’s busiest roads was closed on Tuesday morning following a collision between two cars.
The A915 Standing Stane Road was shut shortly after 9.30am following the incident, which involved a white BMW 1-Series and a blue Vauxhall Astra.
Nobody in either vehicle is believed to have sustained any serious injury, however the route, the main road between Levenmouth and Kirkcaldy, was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
The road was partially re-opened soon after, however, a partial closure is expected to remain in place for part of Tuesday morning.
