Police are hunting thieves who stole batteries from temporary traffic lights on two separate locations in Dundee, putting motorists at risk.
Four batteries were taken from the lights at the junction of Strathmore Avenue and Hospital Street some time between Wednesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 20.
Another eight batteries were stolen from temporary traffic lights at the entrance to Baxter Park, Arbroath Road, during the same period.
Five car batteries, which are used to power fences at a horse riding school in Dundee, were also stolen sometime between Sunday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 19.
