Scotland’s newest and arguably most impressive ever bridge has marked another major milestone this morning. The Queensferry Crossing, which only opened to the public in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, has finally made it onto Google Maps. The 1.7-mile bridge had been nowhere to be seen on the hugely popular mapping service despite construction being completed months ago. Even hours before its opening it had not been included. Traffic Scotland spotted the addition on Wednesday morning and tweeted the news to the public. Amazing news !
