A man was rushed to hospital following an incident on a busy road in Dundee City Centre this afternoon.
The Seagate was closed to traffic for about 40 minutes as paramedics attended to a man in his 70s who allegedly fell into a stationary bus at about 12.15pm.
Xplore Dundee tweeted that its services were being diverted around the scene.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 12.16pm today to attend an incident on Seagate.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene. One male patient in his seventies was taken to Ninewells Hospital.”
Seagate now closed for emergency services. Eastbound services 5/10 diverted via Dock Street & East Marketgait.

Seagate has now re-opened, allowing services to resume normal routes through City Centre. Please be aware that residual delays are likely.

His injuries are thought to be minor.
The road reopened at about 1.10pm.
Police say they do not have any information on the incident.
