Drivers warned after downpour batters “all routes” across Tayside

Motorists are being warned to drive with caution following a downpour of rain across Tayside.

Traffic Scotland has warned that “all routes” across Dundee, Perth and Kinross and parts of Angus are being affected by surface water.

It comes following a huge downpour of rain across the region this morning and into the afternoon.

Traffic Scotland said: “Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to surface water causing difficult driving conditions.”
