Image: DC Thomson. A 21-year-old man has been arrested after a car crash on a busy Dundee road. Police confirmed that “at least three” cars were involved in the incident on Queen Street in Broughty Ferry just after 3.30pm. The collision caused traffic chaos and bus delays due to the road being blocked. The road reopened at around 4.20pm. There were no reports of injuries, although an ambulance was on the scene “just in case”. Two Stagecoach buses – the number 73 service – were delayed due to the incident. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There don’t seem to be any injuries, but the road was blocked, causing problems for traffic. “An ambulance was there just in case.” Another police source added: “The incident was dealt with fairly quickly and the road was re-opened at 4.20pm. “A 21-year-old male was arrested.” Accident in broughty ferry currently 2 73s delayed due to this — Stagecoach East Scot (@StagecoachEScot) September 30, 2017
