The incident on the line near Kingussie meant that rail passengers had to be bussed south to Perth. A rescue locomotive was sent to the scene and shortly after 10.30am it was reported that the Caledonian Sleeper was back on the move. “We’ll return to normal as quickly as we can,” said a ScotRail spokesperson.
