Star Wars Stormtrooper spotted patrolling Dundee station with police

A Stormtrooper has been spotted assisting police checking in on Dundee Railway Station during rush hour.

Star Wars soldier FN-61016 was spotted alongside a British Transport Police (BTP) officer at the city’s interchange.

It is not clear if the force has enlisted the Stormtrooper from the ranks of the Galactic Empire or the First Order, or whether the foot-soldier was merely catching a train and decided to help out.

The BTP tweeted: “Officers are out seeing through rush hour trains at #Dundee. We’ve got FN-61016 from a galaxy far, far away also assisting in festive reassurance patrols.”

The BTP has not confirmed reports that members of the Jedi Council have also been drafted in to assist with patrols.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, one of the most anticipated films of 2017, will hit UK screens on Thursday.
