PICTURES: Families make the most of snowy weather after winter lands in Perthshire and Fife

Heavy snowfall led to wintry scenes across Tayside and Fife on Friday.

And many local families took full advantage of the weather, hitting parks across Perthshire and Fife to go sledging.

Arctic air brought blizzards to Scotland on Friday morning, grinding flights to a halt at Glasgow Airport and causing white-out conditions on the M90 between Perth and Edinburgh.
