Huge queues form on A90 following breakdown at Dundee roundabout

Traffic queuing back for miles west of Dundee following a breakdown on Friday morning.

The van encountered trouble near the city’s Swallow roundabout, with congestion on the A90 Dundee to Perth road tailing back to Longforgan as a result.

The route was partially blocked and police were called to assist.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland attended at the A90 after a vehicle had broken down.”

The road was cleared by 10am.
