Motorists have been warned to exercise “caution” if taking to two busy crossings in Tayside on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland has told drivers to be extra careful if driving across the northbound and southbound Friarton Bridge on the M90 Perth to Edinbugh road due to “high winds”.
And the Tay Road Bridge has been closed to double decker buses with a 30mph speed restriction put in place due to the conditions.

A statement from the organisation said: “Road users are advised to use caution crossing the M90 Friarton Bridge due to high winds currently affecting driving conditions.”
It comes as parts of Scotland are hit by heavy snow and even thunder, with more wintry weather due in Perthshire overnight. Gusts of more than 100mph have been recorded in the Cairngorms in the past 24 hours.
A Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice which is in place for western parts of Tayside and Fife has been extended and is now effective from 9.35am on Thursday until 10am on Friday.
The A93 Braemar to Perth road was closed until noon due to heavy snow on Thursday morning, with the Cairn O’ Mount also reopened earlier.
