Police have launched an investigation after a car was found on its roof at the foot of one of Dundee’s busiest roads.
Officers were called to the Hilltown at its junction with Victoria Road at about 10pm on Wednesday evening after a silver Renault Clio landed on its roof.
Nobody was inside the car when it was found and police are carrying out inquiries into the circumstances.
The road was affected by snowfall on Wednesday evening.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland attended at the foot of Hilltown, Dundee, shortly after 10pm last night (Wednesday, February 28) in response to a reported road traffic collision.
“A silver Renault Clio had overturned and was lying on its roof. There were no persons with the vehicle on police attendance, and the circumstances are being investigated.”
