There was more snow in Dundee on Saturday morning as the Beast from the East continued to cause havoc across the country. Although Dundee has been spared the worst of the weather, heavy snows are still making conditions treacherous on many roads. On Saturday morning Glamis Road had to be closed after a bus got stuck trying to drive down the road. The street was closed to other vehicles while gritters and snow ploughs worked to free the stricken vehicle. Stagecoach said its Perth service X8 would use Perth Road rather than Glamis Road to reach the city centre as a result. Perth Service X8 will not serve Glamis road in Dundee and will divert down Perth road into Dundee city centre. Sorry for any Inconvenience caused. — Stagecoach East Scot (@StagecoachEScot) March 3, 2018 Both the Overgate and Wellgate shopping centres, which closed early on Thursday during the worst of the snow, were open as normal on Saturday morning.
