An HGV stuck under a railway bridge on Perth’s Dunkeld Road caused serious traffic delays. One lane of the road was closed as a result of the incident which happened at about 2.15pm. The road was fully reopened at around 3pm. Police said no one had been injured but they advised motorists to avoid the area while the incident was being dealt with. Network Rail said that the damage to the bridge had been “superficial” and had caused no delays to trains using the Highland line.
