Motorists have been advised the northbound section of the busy M90 will be closed for four nights from Monday.
Roadworks will take place between junction eight (Arlary) and junction nine (Muirmont) near Glenfarg.
Traffic travelling north will be diverted towards Bridge of Earn before re-joining the M90.
The resurfacing work will take place between 7.30pm and 6.30am. A lane closure will be in place during the daytime from Tuesday for three days.
Bear Scotland said the work will entail carrying out surface patching repairs across sections of the route, fixing potholes, cracks and other defects on the road.
Andy Thompson, of Bear Scotland, said: “We’ve planned these works to take place overnight as well as avoiding working at the weekend to limit the impact to road users as much as possible.
“We encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time to reach their destination.”
The southbound M90 will be unaffected during the work.
