Bus bursts into flames on A9

Emergency services rushed to Bankfoot after a bus burst into flames on the A9.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 7.20pm after reports of a Stagecoach bus on fire.

They used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and there are no reports of injuries.

Dramatic footage of the crew fighting the blaze has been shared online by Twitter user Stuart Milne.
