A man has been rushed to hospital following a crash involving a car and a mobility scooter on a Kinross road.
The incident took place on Station Road on Thursday afternoon, with police forced to close the route for almost an hour.
The man driving the mobility scooter, described as elderly, suffered “serious injuries” in the collision and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland is currently in attendance at a road traffic collision in Station Road in Kinross involving a mobility scooter and a car.
“An elderly man who was driving the mobility scooter has suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment, and the road was closed for a short time to allow for collision investigation to be carried out.
“We would like to ask anyone who saw this incident to contact us on 101 or speak to any Police officer. Our reference is incident 1034 of May 10.”
