Police were called after an HGV pulling a trailer “toppled over” at a busy junction.
The lorry came into trouble at about 4pm on the Melville Lodges roundabout, where the A92 Dundee to Glenrothes and the A91 Auchtermuchty to St Andrews roads meet, near the Bow of Fife.
Nobody was injured and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Fife Police said that as of 5.10pm, the HGV and trailer remained in situ as the driver awaited vehicle recovery.
There are not said to be any traffic restrictions in place.
A police spokeswoman said: “A lorry has tipped over at a roundabout. That was at 4pm. It toppled over. No other cars were involved, there were no injuries. It was an HGV with a trailer.
“The driver is awaiting recovery. It has all been coned off. Traffic is moving freely.”
