The M90 Perth to Edinburgh road was closed southbound due to the incident between Gairney Bridge and Cocklaw at around 1.25pm on Friday. Drivers were told to avoid the road and diversions were in place at junction five on the route north of Kelty. One lane of the carriageway was blocked after a collision between a black pick-up and a trailer and a maroon 4×4. An ambulance attended, but it is thought no-one suffered any serious injuries. The road was re-opened at 2.30pm, although the knock-on effect of the accident lasted for some time.
