A Peugeot hit the barriers on the A90 Dundee to Perth road, near The Horn Milk Bar, at about 5.45am – resulting in the closure of one southbound lane. Some of the vehicle’s wheels are said to have “come off” as a result of the collision, however the driver was not injured. A section of the barrier is said to be damaged as a result of the incident. A police spokesman said: “We were called at 5.45am to the A90 southbound at The Horn. The driver called us. “(He’d) struck the barrier, the wheels came off the car. One lane was blocked for a short time. He’s not injured. “It was cleared up fairly quickly. Both lanes were open by 7.15am.”
