A youngster has been struck by a car on a busy Perth street.
The accident happened on the Glasgow Road just after 3pm on Thursday.
The girl, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to Perth Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
The A93 Perth to Blairgowrie section was shut from the Lamberkine Drive roundabout to Oakbank Place following the incident and remained closed at 7pm.
A Tayside Police Division statement states: “Police Scotland are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the Glasgow Road in Perth.
“The road is closed in both directions and there are diversions in place. Members of the public are advised to try and avoid the area at this time.”
Perth and Kinross Council tweeted: “Please note that the A93 Glasgow Road in Perth is currently closed in both directions from the Lamberkine Drive roundabout to Oakbank Place, as Police Scotland are attending an ongoing traffic incident.
“Local diversions are in place; please follow these or avoid the area if possible. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”
