A man is in hospital following a crash which forced the closure of a Perthshire road on Thursday morning.
The A85 Crieff to Lochearnhead route was closed in both directions between Comrie and St Fillans due to the accident involving two vehicles at about 10.30am.
One man was taken to Ninewells Hospital with leg injuries following the collision.
A second person is also said to have been injured.
Motorists were told to avoid the A85 as police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
A police spokesman said: “Two persons were injured, one man has gone to Ninewells with leg injuries.
“It happened just before 10.30am. The road was blocked and a local diversion was in place. The road was reopened at about 12.40pm.”
On Thursday morning Traffic Scotland posted to Twitter: “A85 near Comrie – the road is closed in both directions due to a serious RTC. Emergency services are on scene. Please avoid if possible.”
