A Perthshire road has been forced to close as heavy snowfall moves across Scotland.
The A93 Braemar to Perth road is shut around Glenshee due to the wintry conditions.
The snowfall is said to be particularly heavy on the Aberdeenshire side of the road.
And now snow has fallen in Scotland’s sunniest city. The white stuff started covering the streets of Dundee this evening.
The Met Office has issued a fresh snow and ice warning, effective from noon on Friday until noon on Saturday, for the north-east, Highlands and islands. It covers a small section of Angus.
A yellow warning for snow and ice is also being enforced in Tayside and Fife from midnight until 2pm on Monday – with several inches of the white stuff possible in places.
Friday’s snow showers brought chaos to England early on Friday morning before moving into Scotland – however Tayside and Fife has so far dodged the worst of it.
The A939 Tomintoul to Cock Bridge road is also closed in Moray due to the weather.
