Dundee city centre roadworks are said to be causing major congestion.
Staff at the Tay Road Bridge have warned of “significant queuing” on the northbound section of the crossing due to the work at East Dock Street, near to the Trades Lane junction.
Emergency gas mains repairs are being carried out by SGN, forcing the closure of one lane.
Traffic is said to be moving “very slowly”.
Tay Road Bridge staff posted to Twitter: “We are currently experiencing significant queuing of traffic heading northbound into Dundee.
“This is due to the emergency gas main repairs on Dock Street. Traffic is moving, but very slowly.”
