A busy Angus road was forced to close after an HGV crashed into a railway bridge.
The incident took place on the A92 Dundee to Stonehaven road near Inverkeilor.
There were no injuries, however police closed the road until about 1pm.
An earlier Tayside Police Division statement read: “The A92 is currently closed near Inverkeilor following an RTC involving an HGV and a railway bridge.
“No-one is injured, but the road is blocked and may be for some time.”
The road was reopened after Network Rail confirmed the bridge to be safe following the crash.

Rail services from Aberdeen to Edinburgh and Glasgow were initially affected by the incident, which took place at noon.
However trains are now running as normal.
