The one-vehicle collision took place on the A9 Perth to Inverness road, between Ballinluig and the River Tummel Bridge, at about 3pm. Police were called to the scene. Traffic Scotland reported that both the northbound and southbound carriageways were “restricted” in both directions following the crash. One southbound lane remained closed until about 5pm, when the crash was cleared. There was a lane closure on the southbound carriageway. We got the call at 3.02pm.” Nobody was injured in the crash. Earlier Traffic Scotland posted: “The A9 at Ballinluig is currently restricted in both directions due to a road traffic incident. “Motorists are advised to use caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey.”
