ScotRail services across the region are facing delays after a passenger took ill at Inverkeithing this morning.
The line towards Edinburgh is disrupted following the incident, with the 10.48am Edinburgh to Glenrothes service cancelled as a result.
The 11.02am Edinburgh to Arbroath train will start at Haymarket and the 11.52am Glenrothes to Edinburgh service will start at Inverkeithing.
ScotRail said that the the ambulance service are “in attendance” and have the passenger now in their care.
They said that train services running through this station are returning to normal but some services will still be cancelled, delayed or revised, with disruption expected to last until around 11.45am.
