Windy weather is causing traffic problems on one of the busiest crossings in Tayside. The blustery conditions affected the Friarton Bridge on the M90 Dundee to Perth road on Monday morning. Traffic Scotland warned of “restrictions” on both the northbound and southbound lanes due to high winds. The organisation posted: “All lanes restricted in both directions for more than an hour.” Elsewhere the Tay Road Bridge is closed to double-decker buses due to the weather, with a 30mph speed limit in place.
