Rail services to Angus, Dundee and Fife have been cancelled due to a signalling issue in the kingdom.
Trains are being called off due to the fault on the line near Inverkeithing on Tuesday afternoon.
Services between Edinburgh, Fife and Angus have been called off and others are delayed.
The following ScotRail services have been cancelled:
- 14:49 Edinburgh to Glenrothes With Thornton due 15:50
- 15:00 Edinburgh to Arbroath due 16:48
- 15:08 Edinburgh to Glenrothes With Thornton due 16:04
- 15:26 Cowdenbeath to Edinburgh due 16:14
The 6.18pm London North Eastern Railway (LNER) service from Aberdeen to Leeds has also been affected.
Passengers will have to get a bus from Aberdeen to Edinburgh before getting on the train.
It had been due to stop at Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath, Dundee and a further three stops in Fife.
LNER posted: “Due to a fault on a train the 6.18pm Aberdeen to Leeds will be started from Edinburgh.
“It will no longer call at Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath, Dundee, Leuchars, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing and #Haymarket.”
Replacement buses are in use for ScotRail customers across Fife.
