A large group of youths cornered two teenage girls and assaulted them, according to British Transport Police. One of the girls suffered an unspecified assault, while the other was punched and kicked during the lunchtime incident on June 21. A bystander saw the incident on platform two and pulled the two victims to safety on board an Edinburgh-bound train. British Transport Police (BTP) are now hunting for three female suspects. The first is described as around 15 years old, with ginger hair in a bun and wearing a red puffy jacket. The second was of large build, with ginger hair in a ponytail and dressed all in black. A third girl was described as slim with long dark hair, wearing baggy jeans and a black jacket. She is also thought to be around 15 years old.
