Police issued an urgent warning to drivers to be extra cautious on one of Tayside’s busiest roads on Monday afternoon.
Concrete pipes were said to be lying on a live lane of the A90 Dundee to Perth road between Bullionfield and Longforgan.
At about 3.40pm police said they were on the way to the scene.
The road was quickly cleared.
A Tayside Police Division statement read: “We have just been notified that there are some concrete pipes lying in one of the live lanes of the Perth-bound A90 between Bullionfield and Longforgan.
“We’re en route to deal with this but please use caution in the area.”
