A broken-down bus caused traffic problems on one of Dundee’s busiest roads on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle led to congestion on the southbound A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road near the Claverhouse Road junction from about 3.3opm.
One lane was blocked with police warning drivers to avoid the section of road near the Fountainbleau traffic lights.
The incident prompted a warning from both Tayside Police Division and Traffic Scotland.
A statement from the force reads: “A broken-down vehicle on the southbound A90 Forfar Road in Dundee near to the Fountainbleau traffic lights is currently causing congestion.
“Recovery is being arranged, but avoid the area if you can.”

Traffic Scotland tweeted: “A90 broken down bus southbound heading into Dundee near Claverhouse Road blocking lane one (of two). Traffic is slow on approach.”
UPDATE: The road was cleared at about 3.50pm.
