Motorists are stuck in long queues on the M90 in Fife due to roadworks.
Traffic is restricted to a single lane in both directions between junctions 2a and 3 at Halbeath as resurfacing work is carried out.
Travellers heading south towards Edinburgh are being delayed by up to 40 minutes, with traffic queued as far back as Kelty.
Traffic was also said to be slow on the A92 as far back as Cowdenbeath as a result.

Operating company Amey is resurfacing the northbound carriageway.
Restrictions and the contraflow came into force on Saturday morning and will continue until midnight on Sunday.
The northbound off-slip at junction 3 is also closed. A diversion route for traffic which would normally use that exit is signposted from junction 2 Pitreavie interchange via the A823(M), the A823 Queensferry Road and the A907 Halbeath Road.
Police Scotland advised motorists planning to use the motorway to allow extra time for their journey.
