A child has been hospitalised following a collision near a school in Crieff this afternoon.
The accident involving a vehicle and a young boy occurred on Broich Road in the Perthshire town at around 3.30pm close to both Crieff Primary School and the new Aldi store.
Witnesses at the scene described a man administrating first aid to the youngster before the paramedics arrived.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The road traffic collision occurred at 3.30pm on Broich Road in Crieff.
“The wee lad has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
The extent of the boy’s injuries are currently unknown.
