High-flying Insights chief executive Andy Lothian is the 2016 Courier Business Awards Entrepreneur of the Year.
Described by the judging panel as a true business braveheart, Andy has done more than most to promote Dundee, Tayside and Scotland on the global business stage.
Having started out in business with his father Andi Lothian Snr, the dynamic duo built a suite of people development programmes based round the psychology of Jung and Jacobi.
With its headquarters proudly still in Dundee, the firm that Andy Jnr now leads on a day-to-day basis is global in profile and counts corporate giants such as AstraZeneca, Nationwide, Philips and Microsoft among its blue chip clients.
Andy said he was “absolutely bowled over” by his win.
“I get to hand on to the coat tails of some of the best, most committed people in the world,” he said.
“Doing well by doing good is, I think, what every business should do, and we certainly do that.”
