No luxury direct air flights in those days for the Ibrox side, who took to water and sailed across the Atlantic to the North American country. From left — George Young, Willie Paton, Willie Woodburn, John Prentice, George Niven, Ian McColl, Willie Waddell, and Sammy Cox. They won seven of their nine game, losing one and drawing the other. They beat Chelsea 1-0, then played the London side another two times, losing 4-1 in one and the other ending goalless. The Hamilton and District All-Stars were beaten 6-0, with the Ontario All-Stars despatched 4-1. The British Columbia Mainland All-Stars were swamped 9-0, as were Victoria, who went down 7-0. The Ibrox side beat the Vancouver All Stars 3-0, and also chalked up a 5-0 win over Manitoba All-Stars.
