Former Dundee United player Eddie Stewart recently passed away.
Eddie signed for United in September 1954 from local junior side Osborne.
The half-back made his debut against Stenhousemuir the same month in a 1-1 draw.
He stayed at Tannadice until 1959, making 88 first-team appearances in the then B Division and Division Two (scoring two goals), and then joined Arbroath.
He may also have played for Norwich City on leaving Gayfield.
Eddie is featured in this Dundee United team group (top) from August 1958.
