“Scotland lost 5-2.
“The Harris School Sports in June 1935 lists their Junior Champion (boys) as J Houston.
“James Houston won the 100 and 220 yard races for 12-14-year-olds.
“In May 1937, James Houston (then 15), of 175 Hawkhill, was injured (hurt his wrist) during the Boys Brigade gymnastic display at Baxter Park.
“I would think this is the same J Houston who appears in the Hawkhill School sports from 1932 and 1934.
“In May 1938, St Bernard’s (possibly a juvenile team) have two Houstons listed — F Houston and J Houston — with J Houston being a forward.
“However, I can’t locate anything for a James Houston for Everton.”
